With respect to Highway proximity, we are conveniently positioned to allow for a quick exodus from the city. Spinning, bait casting, and center pin fishing; however you cast we have what it takes to set you up. Our gear rod selection consists of Sage, G. Loomis, Fenwick, Trophy XL, Lamiglas, Berkley, Daiwa, Okuma, and Rapala. We carry ultra light trout pack rods as well as heavy duty one piece sturgeon poles and everything in between! There is a rod and reel for every budget and we do our very best to accommodate each customer by providing good value at any given price point. Our assortment of spinning rod combos includes a wide range of shapes, sizes, colours and actions.
The more popular brands of freshwater spinning and casting reels we stock include, Daiwa, Dragonfly, Abu Garcia, Quantum, Penn Pflueger, and Okuma. In addition, we also stock lines of premium brand center pin reels which include those manufactured by Islander, Milner, and Kingpin. Our understanding of B.C. fisheries and the diversity of angling methods used has enabled build a large inventory of lures, bait, floats, spinners, swivels, hooks, weights and line. The freshwater natural bait menu includes Dew worms, krill, shrimp, procured boraxed roe and single eggs. If artificial bait is on your “need to purchase list,” feel secure in the knowledge that rubber worms, Jensen eggs, gooey bobs, mice tails, leeches, Powerbaits, and curly tails are all readily available. We recently added a wonderful selection of plastic worms and eggs from Mad River Manufacturing, a product line that has hooked more than a few good steelheaders!
